I used to be a heavy user of Logic, PT and Cubase. While Cubase is a bit better in MIDI editing and PT uncomparable in audio, Logic seems to stand somewhere between them. But with the content it brings, Logic is an absolute leader. With tons of loops and sound FXes, amazing Alchemy synth, decent Space Designer and Chromaverb reverbs, very helpful Drummer, audio comping, lot of effect and instrument plug-ins and a brand new automatic mastering section, advanced (yet not very intuitive) music notation, this DAW is definitely worth every penny. And right - the price is also amazing for the stuff you get. Just don't update the OSX like crazy (keep previous "big" version all the time) and you'll get a nice, stable music environment with plenty of inspirations. The only thing I'd wish to have is a possibility to open multiple video files within one session. Everything else is already there or in third party plug-ins.

Logic X now seems the last DAW you may ever need. With live loops and redesigned bundle plugins it is one of a kind, second to none. Could it be better? Every update i wonder and ask the same question and while there is nothing I can think of it turns out on the next update that the logic team has come with a new ideas. One thing i would definitely inprove is the sound quality of some apple loops. I realise some of them are old, badly recorded, maybe it's just for the newer ones to get higher recording quality.Still some plugins are not in their new form, still home to get that. Sometimes pitch flex automation is lost in the process, quantisation issues still happen but overall a great piece of software!Just please update the remote for ipad to be in par with the latest improvements in logic, such as step drim sequencing, drummer edits and so on.

Please fix this, last update was horrible! Third party plugins take an infinite amount of time to load. Simple project takes 10 minutes - before update this was 5-10 seconds! App is useless now on my computer. In Pro Tools and any other DAW everything works fine.That's also not a problem with my hardware, i checked it on 3 various interfaces.Sometimes the application also lags the entire system, you cannot click anything and you should turn off the computer in an emergency.Every plugin in my computer is updated and from a legal source. I didn't pay a lot of money to not be able to use the application!Specs: 2019 Macbook Pro 15,6" i9/16gb/512gb SSD
