Founded in 2023 in London, Hello Vet is on a mission to redefine vet care for pets and people. Their goal is to deliver more compassionate and accessible pet care through purpose-built clinics designed to reduce stress — and smarter use of technology by their teams helps them achieve that goal. Hello Vet is also the UK's first practice designed to let clients stay with their pet during procedures, including anesthetic and recovery.
With three locations and a growing team of over 40 employees, Apple products support every part of the business. They help staff stay connected, informed, and focused on delivering exceptional care.
I wanted to create a practice that prioritizes building trust with our customers by offering a modern, technology-focused, and transparent approach to caring for their pets.

Hello Vet uses Apple products because they’re user friendly and reliable, which allows their team to seamlessly support their clients. In reception, teams use iMac to register pets for their appointments via a cloud-based patient management system. Every consulting room is equipped with a Mac mini, and the operating room features a bank of iMac stations for team-wide use. And each veterinary surgeon and nurse receives their own MacBook Air, which is easy to keep on hand throughout the practice thanks to its light-weight design and long battery life.
The team also uses iPad as a diagnostic tool. Pets can be easily and quickly scanned using the Clarius Ultrasound app without having to be moved to another location. Images display live on the Liquid Retina display, allowing the potential to diagnose on the spot.
Mac is also supporting new ways of working, making clinical advice more accessible. Hello Vet offers a digital messaging service, allowing clients to chat with a nurse completely free of charge before or after their appointment — and nurses can answer questions on their Mac as well as offer advice and reassurance. This early triage means pets only come in when truly necessary. And because every nurse has a MacBook Air, they can even respond while working from home.
As with many growing businesses, Hello Vet doesn’t have a dedicated IT team. Instead, Dr. Oli Viner manages the company’s entire fleet of Apple devices with Apple Business Manager and the mobile device management solution, Mosyle. From a simple dashboard, he can see who is registered to each device, ensure they have the apps their users need, and even wipe them remotely if they’re lost. Adding new devices is easy too — allowing the business to continue to grow smoothly and with confidence.
I can keep track of all our Apple devices and ensure they’re regularly updated with the latest security features. It’s reassuring to know our data is secure.
